Final Presentation Requirements
Formal Presentation of Project
The final presentation of this project is to meet professional standards similar to how a designer would present to a client. The following are required at the final presentation. 15 minutes to present, 30 minutes for discussion, and 15 minutes between presentations.
You must demonstrate how your design supports the school curriculum, pedagogy and Finnish culture. This is the central focus of the presentation.
A written and visual statement on how the design of the school specifically meets the values stated in this document and research conducted in class projects. The concept statement must be 250 words minimum.
Digital Movie Presentation (7 Minutes Maximum)–Consider the following content when creating your movie.
- Interviews with Educational Experts
- Computer Generated Animated walk-through of space
- Still Images (Incorporate zoom and pan to animate images)
- Music (Appropriate selection-- no lyrics)
- Graphic Titles
Floor Plan -- General overall and rendered plans of selected detail spaces. MUST BE PRINTED IN SCALE.
Section Elevations -- Rendered on detailed classrooms. MUST BE PRINTED IN SCALE Two complete section elevations of the building.
Reflected Ceiling Plan -- Must be at a readable scale, may be put in technical binder. MUST BE PRINTED IN SCALE.

Perspective Images and other 3-dimensional representations -- Of your detailed classrooms and other important/essential spaces that describe your design ideas. This is all about communication and how well you support your ideas with your presentation graphics. (10-12 perspectives)
Materials Presentation (physical presentation) Materials Box
Labels on all materials
Material specifications and data sheets
Photocopies of technical and sustainable data in notebook format.
Final Sustainability Poster(s) Each Student
Any other items to demonstrate independent thinking.
36”X36” Printed presentation sheets or other sizes as approved by instructors.
Other items as outlined in class assignments
Video tape of your final presentation on your website. (Yes your final presentation will be video taped. The final presentation must be professional, follow a logical sequence, and involve the oral participation of all team members.)
All above items in PDF format on a CD or DVD, previous printed presentation documents, and all process documents are to be turned in on Monday, November 22 at 6:00 PM.
