Help setting up your RSS for IDS 471

The following video will help you get mac mail configured to be your RSS reader for the IDS 471 / Future Learning Environments studio.

If you are not using mac mail for your email, using windows, etc.. the process is similar. 

1. Determine the reader for your RSS subscriptions. This is the application you will use to be notified that updates have been made to the blog. I check my mail several times a day, so I like to use my mail application. Outlook and Entourage should also be able to be configured for RSS subscriptions. 

I recommend using a email application if you do not know what type of reader you want to use. 

A lot of readers for RSS are available, too many for me to know all of them or provide demos. So you will need to check up on this aspect of the subscription process. Google "RSS reader."

2. Once you have selected your reader find instruction on how you subscribe. You will have to click on the subscription link on the course website to identify it as the subscription you want to join. 

3. Check your RSS reader.... All of this is cool stuff, but you have to check your reader for updates!
