Just Ripe, a local grocery/food store, is having a kickstart in the Daylight Building near Market Square. Please go and check it out and report back with a response on on this entry.

Great first day. Some observations and requests. 

Requests:

Subscribe to the class blog/journal so you can be notified when postings are made. We will use this blog to assist in keeping everyone informed of what is going on the the course, post resources, and provided a place of dialog. 

Observations:

Stay objective and collect information, knowledge, and data on regional foods. Let's plan on some time for a brainstorming session on Friday to look for patterns, connections, trends in your search for knowledge of fresh foods that are significant to the culture and relevant to our time and place.
