Dining Space Final Review Requirements

The final presentation for the Knoxville Botanical Garden dining space are to include the following components.

1. Perspective images that illustrate a immersive point of view. 

2. A model that illustrates detail without rendering materials. (1/4"=1'-0")

3. Plans, sections, and diagrams to illustrate organization, fabrication, and scale. (1/2"=1'-0" scale +site drawings at 1/4"=1'-0")

The spirit of the final review requirements are to illustrate the immersive experience of the dining space, communicate the reality of materials and fabrication, and render a holistic experience. 

Feel free to use the above as guidelines and discuss alternative ideas with the instructors. 

Mid-project reviews for Monday, February 8

Reviews:

The faculty will be conducting mid-project reviews of your design on Monday, February 8. Please have the following complete at the beginning of class.

1. 1/4"=1' Site Plan and section of the site

2. 1/4"=1' Model 

3. 1/2"=1' Plan, and two section elevations of the immediate building. These drawings should indicate illustrate movable and fixed objects such as furnishings, cooking surfaces, utensils, and other items to communicate the processes for completing the objectives in your program. 

4. Experiential view/drawing of your choice.

The above drawings and models are to be of a complete design, but need not be created in formal/final presentation graphic format. 

Update your program and refine concepts in written documents.
